HOW TO OPERATE A POWER BARROW
Power Barrows are very easy to use - if you can use a wheelbarrow and start a lawn mower you can use a Power Barrow.
Push the throttle lever, on the left handlebar, right forward for choke and one quick pull on engine's pull cord will start the machine. The Power Barrow can be started in any gear.
4 Wheel Drive and 4 Speeds plus reverse
Once the engine is warm, pull the throttle lever back and the Power Barrow is ready to use. You can select any gear, 1-4 forward and 1 reverse.
The Power Barrow will pull away in any gear, fully loaded on the flat, no need to change gear on the move.
The red lever on the left handlebar is usually referred to as a 'Dead Man's Handle'. To use the Power Barrow, you push this lever down and this releases the parking break, you pull the black lever underneath up and the machine will pull away.
To stop you simply release the black lever which stops the drive, then remove your hand from the red lever and this puts the handbrake on. This is a safety measure, if you were to fall over or trip the Power Barrow would stop immediately and the handbreak would come on.
To turn the engine off, simply pull the throttle lever right back and this will switch the engine off.
The right hand lever is the release for tipping. It is as easy as that to use a Power Barrow.

THE POWER BARROW'S CONSTRUCTION
Power Barrows are constructed from the highest quality materials using the most respected suppliers to create and produce the strongest, most technically proficient and cost effective motorised wheelbarrows available anywhere in the world today.
Framework
Only the highest grade steel is used to manufacture Power Barrows. Using the latest robotic laser cutters and bending machines, the individual parts of the Power Barrow are produced to a consistent quality with guaranteed repeatability. To achieve the strength required, 12 gauge steel is used for the parts and frame, 25mm x 50mm box section is used for the handlebars. The result is a machine that is cost effective and will last many years giving an excellent return on investment.
Powder Coating
All parts are sand blasted and chemically treated before entering the powder coating process.
The latest powder coating materials are used in finishing the Power Barrows. The powder used is the TCI 9000 Polyester series. This high quality textured finish provides excellent adhesion and resistance to impact, salt spray, humidity, chemicals and weather.
The Power Barrow quality control process continues in the shipping operation to the UK and all parts are carefully wrapped before being transported.

THE POWER
With a powerful Honda™ GXV160 air-cooled, 4-Stroke, OHV, single cylinder engine, four-wheel drive and rugged tyres, the motorised Power Barrow will easily climb over rough terrain and up steep inclines carrying a load of up to a 1/3 ton twice as fast as a tracked machine.

The Honda™ GXV 160 engine, in either red or black, has a cast iron liner and is extremely durable, hard wearing and comes with a 24 month warranty.

THE SKIPS - THE OPTION OF POLY OR STEEL
Power Barrow models come with a tough polypropylene skip and the Rocky Power Barrow also has the option of a steel skip. Polypropylene skip bases are lined inside and out with 11 gauge steel plates making them extremely rugged.
The skips are readily replaceable and the sophisticated design of the frame makes it possible to dump the skip without the use of hydraulics, with minimum effort.
The ROCKY comes with a 7 cubic ft / 198 litre poly skip or alternatively a 6 cubic ft / 170 litre steel skip. Both skips can carry up to 250kg / 1/4 ton.
The BUDDY comes with an 8 cubic ft / 227 litre poly skip and can carry up to 330kg / 1/3 ton.
The BRUTUS Power Barrow comes with a 10cubic ft / 283 litre poly skip which can carry the same weight as the Buddy, 330kg / 1/3 ton but is able to carry a greater volume.
